If you like my blog posts and podcast episodes, please consider a monthly subscription or buying me a virtual coffee or a pint?
My website has an ‘Easter Eggs’ tab where monthly subscribers will find hours of extra material from the podcast: extended podcast episodes and uncut interviews and out-take. There is a whole mini season just for subscribers, as well as whole subscriber-only episodes. There are also blog posts containing premium content, including recipes, and a monthly newsletter.
From July 2025, if you sign up to the monthly subscription, you will get access to the secret version of the podcast containing the full interviews with my guests.
A subscription costs just £3 per month, or if you want to simply like to treat me to the equivalent of a coffee or a pint because you like my content, go ahead – I’ll be made up. Alternatively, you can pay what you feel. Click on ‘buy that man a coffee/pint’ and add your own value (minimum donation £1).
You can purchase my that virtual drink via WordPress or PayPal (see below).
Every penny will go into making more digital content. Whether that’s buying ingredients, or better equipment, or paying the good folk who currently help me simply out of the goodness of their own hearts. It would be great to pay for travel costs to meet food historians, food producers and chefs, or to go and sample regional foods in situ.
It has been brought to my attention that some people don’t want to set up a WordPress account just to send a donation, so to make things easier I’ve provided the extra option of donating via PayPal. Unfortunately you cannot sign up to the subscription service via PayPal:
A virtual pint
A donation to the equivalent cost of a UK pint
£4.80
A virtual coffee
A donation to the equivalent cost of a cup of coffee in the UK
£2.60
